From June 2024 to May 2025, we partnered with FACEIT on a long-term social media retainer—embedded directly into their operations as an internal Senior Social Media Manager. Our remit covered everything from strategy creation to hands-on execution, leading the internal team, managing event coverage for major ESL IEM tournaments, and developing content concepts for FACEIT’s flagship products, including FACEIT Watch and their industry-leading anti-cheat systems. A key part of our role was also improving community sentiment and delivering social “wins” that resonated with their player base.

Approach & Exectuion

  1. Strategic Overhaul: Introduced new content pillars and cadence tailored to FACEIT’s global audience, balancing promotional messaging with community-driven content.

  2. Team Leadership: Directed and mentored the internal social team—ensuring alignment across channels, efficient workflows, and consistent brand voice.

  3. Event Coverage: Delivered live and post-event coverage for all ESL IEM events during the contract period, incorporating highlight reels, memes, community shoutouts, and quick-turnaround graphics.

  4. Product Storytelling: Created and rolled out unique campaigns for FACEIT Watch and anti-cheat tools, explaining features in accessible, engaging formats.

  5. Community Sentiment: Deployed social wins—like reactive memes, celebration posts, and acknowledgement of community achievements—to strengthen player loyalty and perception.
